What UPS’s reinvention reveals about modernizing a nearly 120-year-old company
Maybe they should modernize their cargo jets

Yep
The avg age of FredEx and UPS 757s are higher than their MD-11s. FredEx’s avg fleet age compared to UPS is a couple of years younger. This number is skewed by some of the Cessna Skyvan planes that are only a few years old. Lemmie go find a link.

Looks like a couple of UPS MD-11s are over 35 yrs and FredEx has 3 or 4 over 35 yrs.
This site has seemed to be accurate over the years.

They probly want A/c in the planes
Or just a new plane..
Have you seen some of the garbage Boeing has put out the in recent history. Got a bunch of 22.4s making the Dreamliners. Thanks to the bean counters also. Up until a few years ago this sticker was seen on tons of pilots cases when walking through the airport…not so much anymore.

They don't have motors that fall off, just doors and unexpected uncontrollable nose dives.
Other than that...
