There's that sticking point.
Arrest and conviction is null and void if the arrested takes the plea bargain option.

We had a guy at our center find a stolen UPS trailer that got recovered.

Last I knew he hadn't been paid anything for it.
I wouldn't trust that one bit from the post office either.

UPS also has the same clause about arrest & conviction.

I never heard of anyone ever being paid now that you mention it. Maybe the keep it quiet but someone would have slipped
