I agree it needed to stay quiet because they didnt want to company to be prepared but still sad members think its all just a political lie.
It does all seem a bit curious. Doesn't the affected membership have to be informed ahead of time to be prepared to strike? If these are small units and there was a strick embargo on talking about it before it happened okay I get that. But now that it's over I would think the embargo would be lifted and we would see these members talking about it somewhere. If it went down as described in the press release which I have no reason to believe it didn't then that's a big win but they should do a better job of communicating with the whole membership about what happened. Sean should do another zoom call and talk about this in a little more detail then throw to a couple members from these units for testimonial about what issues they were facing and what solutions this helped them accomplish. Another example is what ever happened with Sean's information request to the company re: trucks with ac, open 9.5 grievances, and fulltime offerings for part timers? The last thing the IBT put out was that UPS requested more time. I assume the company has complied with the information request by now but why not make the numbers public and blast UPS for falling short of the goal? Or if they haven't replied yet come out and say you're filling charges? When the membership doesn't know of any resolution it makes him look weak.

So what happened with the strike ? We have about 75 drivers staying on lay off at our Terminal, while the rest of the drivers are overworked up to 14 hrs a day. Isn't it violation of the Contract in the first place ?

Cut routes, loaded down trucks and over 9.5 days, often. @thebrownblob can tell you his building is continually filing 9.5 grievances and his guys are being awarded the penalty pay... But alas the company is not flinching. They are paying the Quad pay like it ain't nothing. I know a guy in our district that was awarded $10k in 9.5 money for one quarter of this year. Insane!

But alas the company is not flinching. They are paying the Quad pay like it ain't nothing. I know a guy in our district that was awarded $10k in 9.5 money for one quarter of this year. Insane!

My local is well over half a million we will be at $1 million before the end of the year in 9.5 payments
